Driveability and tuning issues cannot be completely solved with an external fuel tuner,

This is the best result in driveability and power possible anywhere for this model - My proprietary software guarantees it !!



My Kawasaki VN2000 ECU programming (Re-Flash) includes the following:


1) Fix all fueling problems inside the ECU.
(The ones that cannot be fixed with an external fuel tuner or other commercially available methods)
a) All gear dependent maps equalized
b) Main fuel tables (A/n) - adjusted at all active throttle positions.
c) Vacuum tables (MAP)- adjusted in all active areas.
d) Emissions compliant sub-routines that affect driveability - turned off.

e) All response delay filters (detuning items) - turned off.
f) Deceleration tables thoroughly tested and re-adjusted for best closed to part throttle response.
g) O2 sensor disabled - No need to unplug, or can be removed if desired.
(CA models)
Includes fueling changes - External fuel tuner not needed for 99% of setups - just plug in and go !!


1a) - Raise rev-limit to 5350 rpm (stock is 5150) - adds another 200 rpm of "hard pull"


2) Disable fuel cut - ie; Jerky throttle

a) Engine stays running when the throttle is closed.
(with stock ECU programming, the injectors are not running when you decel)


b) Gets rid of poor, imprecise throttle transitions from closed throttle.

c) Eliminates feeling of driveline lash and jerky, delayed throttle response.

d) Changing gears is dramatically improved.
Without fuel cut disabled, "neutral throttle" is not possible.
This is the direct cause of your touchy, jerky throttle
because the engine isn't running during decel.

e) Dramatic improvement upon re-application from closed throttle (in all riding conditions).
(Throttle re-application response feels like our old carbureted bikes used to feel)

f) No need for a different throttle tube ratio to try to prevent jerky response.
(which it cannot do anyway)

g) Gets rid of annoying popping and banging during decel and when re-applying the throttle from closed.



3) Turn off AIS valve error code
System can be blocked off and valve removed with no error code.

4) Cooling Fan comes on at 195 degrees and goes off at 188
Helps keep engine cooler when you are stuck in traffic.


5) Re-program Sub-throttles to remove gear dependent power restrictions
(engine responds instantly and completely unrestricted to your throttle inputs)


a) This allows a more sensitive throttle that is easy to control.

b) Works well with stock or aftermarket throttle tubes

c) Allows full power whenever you open the throttle.


6 ) Complete custom re-curve of ignition timing


a) Gets rid of part throttle timing retarder for more response and less vibration when cruising and moderate acceleration.

b) Gets rid of ignition timing issues that are unique to the VN2000's

c) Set timing for maximium power and driveability across the entire rpm range & all throttle positions

d) Adjust timing to be the same for all gears.


7) Reduced heavy engine braking on decel.

More relaxed gear changes and throttle modulation at all speeds.

8) Reduced running temperatures.

9) All power limiters removed

10) All driveability inhibitors removed

11) Free upgrades when/if we make improvements.
