This first chart is an ignition advancer test done on a stock engine
FZ-1

The rest of this page is for additional modifications
done to the intake system on the FZ1.
Here you will find results and comparisons from
airbox testing and removal using K+N dual oval pod filters.
Pod filters themselves without velocity stacks
will offer less overall performance than our MB jet kit does
Porting of the intake boots does more for this
engine than using pod filters.
FZ-1 Full Muzzy & MB jet kit vs.
Same w/K+N dual oval pod filters

FZ-1 Full Muzzy & MB kit vs. Pods and our
velocity stacks
(brings back the lost power from too short of an intake tract length)

FZ-1 Full Muzzy, MB kit, ported boots vs. same
w/K+N dual pod filters
(after porting the boots the advantage of the airbox is still shown !!)

Adding
our pod filter kit w/included velocity stacks fixes the lost upper midrange,
as compared to using a pod filter kit that does not include velocity stacks....
Also, when using our Pod filter kit, the carburetor vent tubes will follow
their original routing. This will protect your carbs from dirt getting
inside them.

Ported intake boots
(Porting the intake boots alone gives.... 5 hp !!)

What
kind of weather conditions will give these kind of results??
